Charlotte Grace : Baby

Stalkers, I love it when I tell clients…so I have this location I heard about from a friend.  I’ve never been there.  Never shot there or even seen it in person….but how about we shoot your baby’s first ever professional photo session there?  And the mom said..Sure, sounds like a plan.  Well, maybe not those exact words…but very similar.  So dear stalkers…meet Charlotte Grace.  She just turned one.  Loves cookies.  And is absolutely adorable.

JOhnny Than - LOve These! Beautiful pictures in dark environment!

Bach + Kirk : Married

Stalkers, I’ve decided…I’m expanding my business to include the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  Actually, Hali and I grew up in Biloxi, MS and the Gulf Coast always held a special place in our heart.  So when we got the call from Bach and Kirk to shoot their hometown wedding in nearby Pass Christian…we were thrilled.  We got a chance to stay in Biloxi…and drive that super FAR 30 minutes drive to Oak Crest Mansion Inn in Pass Christian.  :)

Stalkers, usually, I would introduce you to the bride…but let me introduce you to the beautiful Oak Crest Mansion Inn.  This place absolutely screams Southern Wedding.

The bride wore Saison Blanche Couture.  Perfect for a Southern Wedding.

And…oh shoes.  Oh my.  Red bottomed heels.

Louboutin deserves their own photosession.:)

Finally…the lovely bride, Bach.:)

..and all her beautiful girls.

I love the moment when the bride is about to get into the dress!

Getting a little bit of help from her friends.

Seriously, THIS dress right here and all its tulles and fluffs and ruffles are absolute perfection.

Since we had a little bit of time before we had to go to the church…we spent it shooting a bridal session.

Yes, all southern Mansion have gorgeous staircases with perfectly placed chandeliers.

Yep.  She’s pretty gorgeous.  Kirk’s pretty lucky.

One of my faves from the day.

All the cute little people.

Love this little moment while they were waiting to get to the church.

Bach and the girls!

Ya’ll didn’t think I forgot about Kirk and his boys did you?  Stalkers, meet Kirk – he’s the one in the gray suit.:)

Stalkers..the florals at this wedding..OMG.  They were absolutely gorgeous.  Pine Hills Florals outdid themselves!  Warning…I’m about to show 100 photos of just florals.:)

Since we were waiting for Bach’s turn to go to the church…I thought we could do a few more photos – this time outside.  By the way…check out all the kiddos in the background photobombing Bach.  LOVE!

The wedding ceremony.  So, turned out that Bach and Kirk’s wedding was the VERY first church to be held at this brand new church!  How awesome is that??!!!

Bach and Kirk took a horse and carriage back to Oak Crest Mansion Inn from the church.  That’s just what you do in the south.:)

I love this moment!

I guess Kirk deserves at least one photo by himself.:)

The entire wedding party!!!

All the pretty little details.

The gorgeous cake.

This is SERIOUSLY stinking beautiful.  Like BEYOND.

I heart these little tulips arrangements throughout the ballroom.

The second line custom hankies!

Their wedding coordinator, Susie Davis of A Plan to Remember, outdid herself.  Absolute GORGEOUS.

That’s Kirk’s happy face.:)

The bride and groom AND the entire wedding party had a Second Line entrance!!!

Because it’s not a wedding unless you set something on fire!

And then it was time to PARTY!  They outlasted us.  :)

This cracked me up.

And the beautiful rings.

Oak Crest Mansion Inn at night.

Congratulations Bach and Kirk!  :)

Lindsay and Bart : Married

I first met Lindsay and Bart on their wedding day one month and one day ago.  The only visual I had of Lindsay was a little thumbnail picture that popped up next to her name on her email account when we would exchange emails….and even with that, Lindsay had informed me that in September, she and Bart had a baby girl.  Not knowing what to expect, I arrived while Lindsay was getting her makeup done.  Stalkers, I’m not quite sure how I get all the pretty girls in Houston…but there you have it….

The gorgeous bride (and new mommy) Lindsay and her husband Bart.

Stalkers, I debated for a while if I should share this photo on the blog…but honestly, this moment was just too beautiful not to share.  Plus, Giselle have a very similar picture in the makeup chair as well. What’s good for Giselle is good for me.:)

Getting ready by mommy and Grandma.  I hope Lindsay’s baby girl make her photographer recreate this photo on her own wedding day.

All the lovely details.

Lindsay’s something blue.  Yes, please.

I’m in love with Lindsay’s Oleg Cassini’s wedding gown….especially this lovely beaded shrug.

Lindsay honestly made my job incredibly easy.

The First Look!  I love Lindsay’s face here!!

…and here!

Family photo!  Poor baby girl…we woke her up for this.  She was not a happy camper!

I am always in awe of the beauty that is St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

Since Lindsay and Bart’s wedding ceremony was so late in the evening, they decided to do a First Look so that they could have ample time before the wedding for bride and groom photos and wedding party photos.  I highly recommend this!!!!!

This is one of my favorite bridal image of Lindsay.

Some last minute primping before the wedding.

Pinning the wedding veil.

Mr. and Mrs. Ferh.:)

The reception was held at Ouisie’s Table in the Galleria area.  It was small and intimate…void of any of your traditional wedding “events” (except for the First Dance, which I may have convinced them that they absolutely MUST do).

I asked Lindsay if she had a cake.  She told me no…and not too long after…the restaurant bought out a small cake for the couple.  No cake cut here…move along.:)

Their first dance!!!

Helen and Ben : Engaged

Helen decided to go with the pink cheongsam and navy blue ao dai.  She suggested we go to  a place filled with swimming holes and lovely little waterfalls for the shoot.  The ground were filled with fall leaves and everywhere we walked, we were basked by glorious, glorious sunlight.  Stalkers, I’m thinking that perhaps I should start taking up camping.  Two days in a row, my clients have introduced me to wonderful campsites around Austin and the hill country.  Who knew such places even existed??!!!  I kid of course…but really, I’m not much of an outdoors kinda girl…so these places are like hidden little gems to me.

Stalkers, meet Helen and Ben.  They are going to be tying the knot in less than 2 weeks!!  ACK!!!

I call this tree with the huge opening in it…”the Hobbit tree.”  Seriously, I have fallen in love with campsites.

Oh sunflares…you complete me.

This girl is gorgeous.  Ben is lucky.  The end.:)

My original intention was to blog this earlier this morning…but then I had a CRISIS.  I spent all day debating whether to keep the blog images colors bright…or go with more of a quieter tone.  So, I did a facebook status about it and it was suggested to me to do both…although I’m sure she meant both type of tones in one image.  We all know that wouldn’t have worked…possibly, maybe.  So, for the second outfit (the navy ao dai), I decided to do more muted colors.  (Okay, rambling over!).  Stalkers, I’ll introduce you to Helen again.  She’s the pretty girl in the picture below.:)

Then I thought I should probably add Ben into the mix.  He might be interested in being a part of the session.:)

I heart.

I could not get enough of this little area.  Plus, Helen and Ben are adorable together.

If there was ever a place to just sit and lean on someone’s shoulders…this would be it.

Ugh, they are so stinkin’ adorbs.  I cannot wait for their wedding day!

Kudos to Ben for wearing the traditional ao dai as well!!!

Love this little moment between these two.:)
